Different items in the Workspace user
interface are displayed depending on the process and task that you
are working on. You may or may not see the Forms, Task Details,
History, Attachments, or Status tabs, or all the buttons that are
described in this Help.
You can navigate the main Workspace user interface by using any
of the following methods:
Click the items in the top navigation bar to access the
preferences, session messages, and help, as well as to log out.
Click the Start Process, To Do, or Tracking tab to access
the three main working areas.
On the Start Process and To Do tabs, click the List or
Card buttons
in the upper-right corner of the working area to switch between
a list or card view.
On the Start Process, To Do, and Tracking tabs, click the
items on the list in the left panel to access favorites, process
categories, search templates, drafts, or assigned tasks. Click the
Up Arrow and
Down Arrow buttons
to see additional items in the list.
When the process designer enables the Approval Container
(Deprecated) user interface in Workspace, Document and Ownership
buttons appear at the bottom of the page. When you select Document,
you see the actions that the process designer specified, such as
Approve or Reject. When you select Ownership, you see actions like
Lock, Forward, Consult, and Share, depending on whether the process
designer enables them as access control lists (ACLs). You can also
view instructions, status, comments, and add attachments.
On the Task Details tab, click the buttons in the navigation
bar at the bottom of the page to forward the task to another user,
share the task with another user, consult on the task with another
user, or lock the task.
On the History tab, select a task to display the Attachments
and Assignments tabs for that task.
Click the logo in the upper-left corner of the screen to
return to the Welcome page. By default, this logo is the LiveCycle
logo, but your organization may have replaced it with its own.
Use the tab key, arrow keys, and spacebar to navigate through
Workspace without using a mouse.
Note: Clicking the web browser Back button takes you
out of Workspace. To return to a previous view, use the navigation
methods within Workspace.
