Viewing messages

Messages are notices of events that occur during your current session. The messages are about two types of events:

  • System events, such as login and client errors

  • Business process events, such as completion of a task and new tasks arriving in your To Do list

For some messages, a message notification appears below the Messages link. You can set the message notification view time on the Preferences page.

Note: Messages are not maintained when you log out.

View the messages for the current session

 Click Messages. The list of Messages for your session appears. You can take these actions:
  • To view additional message details, pause the pointer over the message icon.

  • To sort the messages in ascending or descending order, click the Event Time column heading.

  • To hide the messages, click Exit Messages.
