Sets metadata attributes for the specified content without
modifying the content.

Input propertiesProperties of the content.
Store NameA string value
that represents the name of the store where content is located.
If
you provide a literal value, select the name from the list. Currently,
only SpacesStore is available.
Node ID/PathA string value
that represents a fully qualified name or a unique identifier of content.
The path must start from the root location (for example, /Company Home/User
Home/My Home/Mydata.xml).
If you provide a literal value,
either type the path or identifier or click Browse to select the
content node.
Aspects ListA list value
that specifies the names of the attribute collections (aspects)
to be applied to content.
If
you provide a literal value, the edit button displays
the Select Aspects dialog box, where you can select the required
aspects from the list of available aspects. (See About Remove Aspects (deprecated)).
The following aspects are available:
- Adobe PDF Form Data:
- Applied to documents that are created as a result of filling
a form.
- Associate Documents:
- Creates a link between two or more PDF documents.
- Classifiable:
- Used for assigning categories to a content item.
- Complianceable:
- For internal use only.
- Document Consumer:
- Process name, process ID, and Task ID of the process that
consumed the document.
- Document Modifier:
- Process name, process ID, and Task ID of the process that modified
the document.
- Document Producer:
- Process name, process ID, and Task ID of the process that produced
the document.
- Dublin Core:
- Lets you add these properties to the Document Details view
for a content item: Publisher, Contributor, Type, Identifier, Source,
Coverage, Rights, Subject.
- Effectivity:
- Lets you add these properties to the Document Details view
for a content item: Effective From, Effective To.
- Emailed:
- Lets you add an Email Data section to the Document Details
view for a content item. The section includes these properties:
Originator, Addressee, Addressees, Sent Date, Subject.
- LiveCycle Resource Metadata:
- Lets you specify the following metadata for the PDF file:
Subject, Keywords, Application, and PDF Producer.
- Process Attributes:
- Specifies whether the process is active.
- Repository Reference:
- Used for creating references to documents that are stored
in a native repository.
- Rights Managed:
- For internal use only.
- Summarizable:
- Lets you add a Summary property to the Document Details view
for a content item.
- Templatable:
- For internal use only.
- Titled:
- Specifies that the content can have a title and a description.
- Versionable:
- Assigns a new version number to a content item each time
it is edited (checked out and checked back in, or updated).
- XDP Document:
- Content is an XDP document that is used to render the XDP forms
present in the LiveCycle repository.
- XDP Document Data:
- An XML data document for the XDP document. The XML document
is created when the user submits a form.
Note: The
list of aspects may also contain custom aspects that are created
for custom namespaces.
If you provide a literal value,
click the box beside each aspect that you want to select. Selecting
an aspect also selects all its attributes. To select individual
attributes for an aspect, click the box beside each attribute. After
making the selection, click Update. To clear your selection, click
Clear.

Content AttributesA map value
that specifies the attributes of the content node or content.
The
Attributes Map table is populated with the attributes selected in
the Aspects List. For each attribute, the table shows the following
values:
- Attribute Name: T
- he name of the attribute to apply to content. The list of available
names depends on the content specified in Node ID/Path and the aspects
selected in Aspects List.
- Attribute Type:
- The data type of the selected attribute.
- Attribute Value:
- The value for the attribute. Click the ellipsis button to
open XPath Builder, where you can select a process variable or provide
a string value.
Note: The date-time attribute must
be configured in the yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss'Z' format. Otherwise,
a parsing exception occurs, an error is logged, and the attribute
is set to the current date.
