Inserting and deleting

To insert a row, column, or section

  1. Select part of the table.

  2. Select Table > Insert and select an option.

    Note: When you insert a section, Designer adds a header row for the section by default.

To delete a table, row, column, or section

To delete a table

  1. Select the table. See To select a table, row, column, cell, or section.

  2. Select Table > Delete and click Table.

    If the table is not a nested table, you can select Table > Delete to delete the table.

To delete a row, column, or section

  1. Select the rows, columns, or sections. See To select a table, row, column, cell, or section.

  2. Select Table > Delete and click Row, Column, or Section.
