Use Snap to the Center of the Page to automatically place
the center of an object at the vertical or horizontal center of
the page. The Snap to the Center of the Page option is available
in the Drawing Aids palette and from the View menu.
The center lines are not objects. They are displayed only when
you are positioning objects near them and Snap to the Center of
the Page is enabled.
When Snap to the Center of the Page is enabled, an object that
you move to within one grid space of a page center line snaps to
the line automatically. If additional snapping options are enabled,
the object must be closer to the center line before it snaps to
the line. An object can snap to the vertical and horizontal center
lines at the same time, which places it at the exact center of the
page.
When you select multiple objects, the objects are treated as
one object for snapping.
