1.1 Conventions used in this document

[LiveCycle root]

The installation directory that is used for all LiveCycle modules. The installation directory contains subdirectories for Adobe® LiveCycle® Configuration Manager, the LiveCycle SDK, and each LiveCycle module installed (along with the product documentation). This directory also includes directories relating to third-party technologies.

Windows: C:\Adobe\Adobe LiveCycle ES3\

AIX, Linux, and Solaris: opt/adobe/adobe_livecycle_es3/

[appserver root]

The home directory of the application server that runs the services that are part of LiveCycle.

JBoss 5.1 on Windows: C:\jboss

JBoss 5.1 on Linux and Solaris: /opt/jboss

JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 4.3 on Windows: C:\jboss-eap-4.3\jboss-as

JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 4.3 on Linux and Solaris: /opt/jboss-eap-4.3/jboss-as

[WL_Home]

The install directory for WebLogic as specified for the WL_HOME environment variable.

WebLogic 10g on Windows:

WebLogic 11g on Linux and Solaris:

[appserverdomain]

The domain that you configured on WebLogic. The default domain is called base_domain.

WebLogic 10g on Windows:

WebLogic 11g on Windows:

C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\base_domain

WebLogic 11g on Linux and Solaris:

[WebSphere ND root]

The install directory for WebSphere Application Server, Network Deployment

WebSphere on Windows: C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer

WebSphere on Linux and Solaris: /opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer

WebSphere on AIX: /usr/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer

[server name]

The name of the server configured on your WebLogic or WebSphere server

WebLogic: server1

WebSphere: server1

[profile_name]

The profile name for the JBoss application server.

Adobe pre-configured JBoss: lc_<db-name>_cl

Manual or Downloaded Jboss: all

[dbserver root]

The location where the database server is installed
