Use
this dialog box to select the application language for the application.
You must restart Designer to apply the language change.
To display this dialog box, select Tools > Options and select
International from the list on the left.
- Application Language
- Lists the available applications languages.
- Select Font
- Specifies whether Designer uses the default font or one that supports
extended characters (for example, GB18030 and HKSCS). The options available
depend on which fonts are installed.
Note: HKSCS - 2001 support
for Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Hong Kong Supplementary
Character Set (HKSCS) rendering is supported by Designer. If the
correct HKSCS font is selected for the object, HKSCS characters
should be displayed correctly in the form design as well as in the
Design view and Preview PDF tab. However, HKSCS-extended characters
may not be displayed correctly in the user interface, such as in
the Hierarchy view and Object palette.
