Adobe® AIR™ is
a cross-operating system runtime. With AIR installed on a computer,
users can install and run AIR applications.
This document is intended for IT administrators that want to
install and configure Adobe AIR on network computers.
AIR applications support native desktop application features,
including clipboard and drag-and-drop support, local file I/O, and
system notification. Operating system restrictions that apply to
native applications, such as user-specific privileges, equally apply
