When
you align objects to each other, the last object you select determines
the point of alignment. For example, if you Shift+click several
objects to left align them, the objects are aligned to the left
edge of the object that you selected last. In a group of selected
objects, the last object selected has solid resizing handles.
To align the edges of objects

Select the objects that you want to align.

Do one of the following actions:

To align the
left edges of the objects, select Layout > Align > Left or
click Align Left
.

To align the right edges of the objects, select Layout >
Align > Right or click Align Right
.

To align the tops of objects, select Layout > Align >
Top or click Align Top
.

To align the bottoms of objects, select Layout > Align
> Bottom or click Align Bottom
.
To align the vertical centers of objects

Select the objects that you want to align.

Select Layout > Align > Vertical Center or click Align
Vertical Center
.
To align the horizontal centers of objects

Select the objects that you want to align.

Select Layout > Align > Horizontal Center or click
Align Horizontal Center
