About excluding unreferenced topics from output

A project meant for single sourcing can include topics that are not relevant in all types of output generated from the project. For example, a project with multiple TOCs includes topics that are not relevant to the output that you generate based on a single TOC. In such a case, excluding unreferenced topics from the output ensures that users find only the relevant topics in navigation and search.

RoboHelp considers a topic unreferenced if the topic is not referenced by the following project components:

The Exclude Unreferenced Topics From Output option is available in Adobe AIR, WebHelp, WebHelp Pro, FlashHelp, FlashHelp Pro, Microsoft HTML Help, XML Output, Oracle Help, and JavaHelp layouts.
