The FTP service enables processes to interact with an FTP
server. FTP service operations can retrieve files from the FTP server,
place files on the FTP server, and delete files from the FTP server.
For example, documents such as reports generated from a process
may be stored on an FTP server for distribution. Or, an external
system may generate some files based on previous steps in a process.
In a subsequent step in the process, the files may be transferred
to a remote location.
