Monitor the application server log files

You can monitor the log files generated by your application server (JBoss, WebLogic, or WebSphere).

  1. Log in to Hyperic HQ.

  2. Click the Dashboard tab.

  3. Click Summary Count > Platform Total.

  4. Click your platform.

  5. Click the Inventory tab.

  6. Click [server name][application server type].

  7. Under Configuration Properties, click Edit.

  8. Enable server.log_track.enable and server.config_track.enable.

  9. Choose the server.log.track.level (Error, Warn, Info, or Debug).

  10. Click OK.
