Configuring log files

Depending on your requirements, you can create a separate log file for a given component in order to isolate the messages logged by it. To do so, perform the following tasks:

1. Navigate to CQ Web Console Configuration, typically it is: http://<server>:<port>/lc/system/console/configMgr.

2. Search for Apache Sling Logging Logger Configuration.

3. Click (create button) to add a new Configuration.

   1. For the Log File attribute specify the log file name and location.

      For example, ../logs/assetcomposer.log

   2. To separate the logging specific to Correspondence Management services, for the Logger attribute specify com.adobe.icc.

4. Click Save to add a new configuration.
