LiveCycle ES2 Deploying Multiple Samples

Use the following steps to deploy multiple samples to your LiveCycle ES2 instillation. The deploy utility is installed with your LiveCycle ES2 installation at:

Adobe\Adobe LiveCycle ES2\LiveCycle_ES_SDK\samples\SamplesConfig

1. Modify the following properties in samplessetup.properties in SamplesConfig/config for your environment.

   #The host where LiveCycle is installed
   host=localhost
   
   #Application server type, available options include [jboss|weblogic|websphere].
   applicationServer=jboss
   
   #The port number of different application server.
   port.weblogic=8001
   port.websphere=9080
   port.jboss=8080

   - host: adjust the host if necessary.
   - applicationServer: change to the server on which you installed LiveCycle ES2.
   - port: verify that the port matches the port you are using.
   

2. Download the LiveCycle ES2 samples you wish to import from the samples download page and place them in a folder.
3. Run the runSamplesConfig.bat (Windows) or runSamplesConfig.sh (Unix) under SamplesConfig/bin in command line
   
   Windows: runSamplesConfig.bat C:\downloadSamples\
   Unix/Linix: ./runSamplesConfig.sh /home/foo/downloadSamples/
   
   
4. In case any errors occur during the import process, review the sample.log under SamplesConfig/log/.
