About Assign Permissions (deprecated)

Use the Assign Permissions dialog box to assign folder or content usage permissions to the users and groups in the writePermissions operation (deprecated) operation.

The User(s) and Group(s) area shows a list of user or groups for which you can add permissions. Click Browse to open the Add Users and Groups dialog box, where you can search for specific names of the users and user groups. (See About Add Users and Groups (deprecated)). Click Remove to delete the selected user or group from the list.

Select one of the following options to indicate whether you are selecting content permissions or folder permissions:

Select Content Permissions:
A list of usage permissions for a content in the invited space. Valid values are these user roles: PrintHigh, Coordinator, Collaborator, Contributor, Editor, and Consumer.

The following table shows content permissions for each user role.
