A single node deployment is useful for running simple jobs.
For example, PDF Generator can be deployed to a single node for
converting Microsoft Office documents to PDF documents.
You can install and deploy LiveCycle on a single application
server instance by using the turnkey method. Installing on a single
application server installs and deploys an instance of the Red Hat® JBoss Application Server and the MySQL database
server. It also deploys LiveCycle to the application server as a
complete and ready-to-use application.
You can configure and deploy LiveCycle automatically to IBM® WebSphere Application Server or Oracle®
WebLogic Server if they are already set up. In this case, you must
also install a database server. You can install the database, as
well as Workbench or the LiveCycle SDK, on the same computer or
a separate computer.
