Android 2.1 and higher.

The Android device must have an SD card.

BlackBerry devices

BlackBerry® Device Software v4.2.1, 4.5.0, 4.7.0, or 5.0.
Note: Although BlackBerry Device Software v4.2.1 is supported, you may notice some problems with the way that forms are displayed. Best practice is to upgrade to a later version of BlackBerry Device Software.

LiveCycle requirements

To use LiveCycle Mobile, you must properly install and configure Adobe® LiveCycle® Enterprise Suite 2 (ES2), LiveCycle Enterprise Suite 2.5 (ES2.5 SP2), or Adobe® LiveCycle® Enterprise Suite 3(ES3). The specific versions and modules required depend on the LiveCycle Mobile functionality that you intend to use:

To enable the Tasks feature:

  • LiveCycle ES2, LiveCycle ES2.5, or LiveCycle including:

    • Process Management

    • Forms (used to display PDF files on the Task Details screen)

To enable the Forms feature:

  • LiveCycle ES2.5 SP2 or LiveCycle, including:

    • Process Management

    • Forms

    • Workbench (used to create Guides (Deprecated))

To enable the Documents feature (iOS only):

  • Content Services (deprecated), (or you can use Microsoft® SharePoint 2010)

Note: Adobe LiveCycle Content Services 9 is deprecated. As of ADEP 10.0, it is no longer available for purchase. It is included in the installer for upgrade purposes only. If you previously licensed Content Services you are now licensed to use ADEP Experience Services Core.
Note: If LiveCycle is running on WebLogic or WebSphere, users can open HTML-rendered task details on BlackBerry devices but not on Android or iOS devices. If LiveCycle is running on JBoss, users can open HTML-rendered task details on BlackBerry, Android, and iOS devices.

For information on how to install and configure LiveCycle, see the LiveCycle Documentation page. You can also access the documentation for other product versions from that page.

WebDAV requirements

To enable iOS users to use the “Documents” feature, you must properly install and configure a WebDAV server such as Adobe LiveCycle Content Services 9 (deprecated) or Microsoft SharePoint 2010. For information on how to install and configure LiveCycle Content Services 9 (deprecated), see the LiveCycle Documentation page.

A LiveCycle administrator must assign the LiveCycle Contentspace User role (or another role with the Contentspace Console Login permission) to all Content Services Mobile users. For information on assigning roles to users, see “Creating and configuring roles” in the LiveCycle Administration Help .

Upgrading from earlier applications

Android:
If you have Adobe LiveCycle Mobile 9.5 installed, uninstall it before installing LiveCycle Mobile.

BlackBerry:
If you have Adobe LiveCycle Mobile 9.5 or Adobe LiveCycle Workspace ES2 Mobile Client for BlackBerry Smartphones installed, uninstall it before installing LiveCycle Mobile.

iOS:
If you have Adobe LiveCycle Mobile 9.5, Adobe LiveCycle Workspace ES2 Mobile Client for iPhone, or Adobe LiveCycle Content Services Mobile for iPhone installed, you do not need to uninstall it before installing LiveCycle Mobile. LiveCycle Mobile will replace the older application but all configured settings from the older application will be erased.
