Important: If you are running the ERT remotely,
ensure that the target environment is not protected by firewall.
Download and run the ERT. For more information, see Downloading and running ERT.
On the Mode Selection screen, select Upgrade Readiness,
and click Next.
On the Task Selection screen, select the appropriate options
to validate your existing LiveCycle system. Click Next.
On the Server Information screen, provide the host name,
port, Admin User ID and Admin Password of the existing LiveCycle
server. Click Verify Server Connection to test if ERT is
able to access the LiveCycle system. Click Next.
On the Validation Execution screen, click Run Validations.
When finished, click Next. To track the progress of the validation
process, click View Progress Log.
On the Results screen, review the summary of the validation
results. To view a detailed report of the results, click Save and View Details.
The validation report is saved as ValidationReport.html in
the folder where ERT was extracted.
Click Exit to exit the ERT.
