Literals,
operators, comments, keywords, identifiers, line terminators, and
white space come together to form a list of expressions, even if
the list only contains a single expression. In general, each expression
in the list resolves to a value, and the value of the list as a
whole is the value of the last expression in the list.
For example, consider the following scenario of two fields on
a form design:
