3.4 Creating and configuring the WebLogic Server cluster

Perform the following tasks to configure your WebLogic Server cluster:

• Create the members of the cluster. (See 3.4.1 Creating the cluster.)

• Configure authentication credentials for the servlet container. (See “Setting authentication credentials for the servlet container” on page 12.)

• Configure the node manager for the cluster. (See 3.4.4 Configuring the node manager for the cluster.)

• Start the node manager and the nodes of the cluster. (See 3.4.5 Starting the node manager and managed servers.)
