The Distiller service (DistillerService)
converts PostScript, Encapsulated PostScript (EPS), and PRN files
to PDF files over a network.

The following settings are available for the Distiller service.
- Adobe PDF Settings:
- The following preconfigured settings are applied to the generated
PDF:
High quality print
Oversized pages
PDFA1b 2005 CMYK
PDFA1b 2005 RGB
PDFX1a 2001
PDFX3 2002
Press quality
Smallest file size

New settings can be created through
the PDF Generator user interface.
- Security Settings:
- Preconfigured security settings that are applied to generated
PDF documents. The default value is No Security. You must create security
settings using PDF Generator and then enter the setting here.
- Pool Size:
- The initial size of the pool. When the Distiller service
is deployed, this number is used to determine the number of service
implementation instances that are created and allocated to the free
pool awaiting invocation requests. The service container can then
respond immediately to invocation requests without having to first
initialize a service instance.
