1)Open the book window and select the file next to where you want the generated file to appear.
2)Do one of the following:
•Choose Add > Create Standalone TOC or choose Add > List of, and then choose a type of list from the menu.
•Choose Add > Standard Index, or choose Add > Index of, and then choose the type of specialized index you want to create.
note: You can also create TOCs, lists, and index for individual files in a book. For example, choose Special > List of Figures to create a standalone list of figures for the current document. You can also opt to create a book with a copy of the current file and its corresponding generated file. The generated files are always created in the same folder as the source file.
