Increase the memory allocation for the JVM of a managed server

Start the WebLogic Administration
Console by typing
http://[hostname]:[port]/console
in
the URL line of a web browser.

Type the user name and password that you created for the
WebLogic Server domain and click
Login.

Under Change Center, click
Lock & Edit
.

Under Domain Structure, click
Environment
>
Servers
and,
in the right pane, click the managed server name.

On the next screen, click the
Configuration
tab >
Server Start
tab.

In the
Arguments
box, append this information to the
end of the current content:
-
(Solaris using 64-bit JVM)
-Xms256m -Xmx1792m -XX:MaxPermSize=1024m
Note:
Only Solaris requires setting the MaxPermSize
parameter.

(Windows, Linux 64-bit)
-Xms256m -Xmx1792m
-
To prevent application server from Denial of Service attacks
append the following JVM argument:
-DentityExpansionLimit=10000
-
Click
Save
and then click
Activate Changes
.

Restart WebLogic managed server.
Note:
If you
are installing the Correspondence Management Solution, it is recommended
that you set the Maximum Heap Size to 4096 (4 GB).
