XPath Builder (Data Mapping)

The XPath Builder for data mapping includes a mappings list in addition to the XPath authoring tools you use to define the locations and expressions. It allows you to edit the list for the Mappings property in the execute operation operation of the Set Value service.

Location

The data item in the process data model that you want to set the value for. To specify the value, click the Location field and create the value using the XPath authoring tools. The value you create in the Location box is automatically added to the Location field. For information about the XPath authoring tools, see XPath Builder (Process Properties) .

Expression

The expression that defines the value for the data item specified for Location. To specify the value, click the Expression field and create the value using the XPath authoring tools. The value you create in the Expression box is automatically added to the Expression field. For information about the XPath authoring tools, see XPath Builder (Process Properties) .

Click to add a mapping to the list.

 Delete Selected List Entry:
Click to remove the selected mapping from the list.

Click to move the selected mapping up in the list. The list order determines the order in which mappings are executed at run time. The topmost mapping is executed first.
