The Batch Processor service implements batch processing.
Each operation can implement a different type of input and output
for the batch items.
The standard operations in the Batch Processor service contain
these general groups of properties:
-
Job identification
-
Identifies a particular batch job instance.
-
Service identification
-
Specifies the service name or operation name of the service
is invoked for each input record.
-
Input and output properties
-
Defines the input (and optional output). Examples of input
and output properties are a file name and a JDBC datasource identified
by a JNDI name.
-
Optimization properties
-
Optimize performance; for example, partitioning strategy
and chunk size.
