This section describes how to set up the database for use
with AEM forms. This section describes special tables, indexes,
and other properties that are required in the AEM forms database
that are not configured by Configuration Manager.
The database will contain these elements:
-
AEM forms services
-
AEM forms run-time configurations
-
AEM forms process data
-
Customer process definitions and templates
-
Application server managed data
Before you create the database, you must ensure that you read
the pre-installation requirements and have the required software
installed.
If this is the first installation of AEM forms, you must create
an empty database. All the tables required to support AEM forms
are created when you initialize the AEM forms database using Configuration
Manager. (See the Installing and Deploying AEM forms document for
your application server.)
Note:
Clustered environments with relational databases are now supported
for production use under a "gated" program. If you intend to use
a relational database in a clustered environment, contact AEM Forms
product team at forms_documents@adobe.com for approval. Also ensure
that the mandatory patches are
installed and configured.
