Keep in mind the following before you plan your installation:

If you are using Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007, the
installation process stops and restarts the Windows IIS Server when
installing Connector for Microsoft SharePoint on the SharePoint
server.

Before you run the installation, ensure that none of the
other sites or web applications is using services on the IIS Server.
Consult your IIS Administrator before you proceed with the installation.

(For Sharepoint server 2010 Farmed installation) The SharePoint
administration service is running on the centeral adminstration
server of sharepoint server Farm. (For Sharepoint server 2010 Standalone
installation) The SharePoint administration service is stopped on
the sharepoint server.
