This sample illustrates how to manipulate data in an Adobe XML Form with either the "FormData Integration" service or the Forms service. It has a simple PDF document, and two different approaches to set data and integrate the data with the form.
Note: Since this feature is not included LiveCycle ES 2.5, so the sample won't be included in the LiveCycle ES 2.5 sample list any more.
Log in to Administration Console (http://server:port/adminui).
Click Services > Applications and Services > Application Management.
Click the LiveCycle Applications (9.x) tab and click Import.
Click Browse to locate the sample LiveCycle ES2 archive (LCA) file, Adobe-Samples-Service-FormDataManipulation.lca, and then click Preview.
Select Deploy assets to runtime when import is complete and click Import.
Running the sample
Start Workbench and log in to the host where this sample is deployed.
If Samples - Form Data Manipulation does not appear in the Application view, select File > Get Application. Select Samples - Form Data Manipulation/1.0 from the application list.
In the Applications view, click Samples - Form Data Manipulation > Samples - Form Data Manipulation/1.0 > Processes > Form Data Sample.
Right-click Form Data Sample and select Invoke. A dialog box appears, prompting you to select whether use form service or not to run this sample.
Select the checkbox Use Form Service, and click OK to continue. The Invoke Process Result dialog displays.
Click View Document to view the document generated by the process.
Repeat steps 3-5 to run this process again. Ensure that the Use Form Service checkbox is not selected and this time the document would be as screen shot below.
