Support for new Rupee currency symbol

A new English India Rupee option is now available on the Form Local list in the Form Properties dialog box (Defaults tab), to support the new Rupee currency symbol.

New keyboard shortcuts for enhanced accessibility

New keyboard shortcuts are now available for controlling palettes.

Flash field object

The Object Library includes a new Flash Field object, which you can use in interactive forms to deliver rich media content like embedded videos and data displayed in charts.

XML encryption

You can now apply W3C XML encryption to form content. The encryption options you can select include specifying the form content to encrypt, the encryption algorithm to use, the public encryption certificates to encrypt for, as well as the key usage criteria to use when filtering for public encryption certificates.

Macros

You can now extend the funtionality of Designer using JavaScript files and running them from the new Macros menu. For example, you could run a macros to rename a field or subform and update all the script references, or to find all scripts that consist entirely of comments.

Styles and default fonts

You can now create and manage style sheets and styles to provide consistent formatting in all of your forms. You can also specify default fonts for captions and values in new and existing forms.

Bulleted and numbered lists

The Paragraph palette includes options for adding, formatting, and aligning bulleted and numbered lists in text.

Specify right-to-left flow direction for the objects in a subform that flows content

In addition to top-to-bottom and Western, you can now specify right-to-left for the flow direction of objects in a subform that flows content.
