Create a model-driven application

In this module of the Creating Your First Experience Services Application tutorial, you will learn about the following Data Services and Content Repository features:

  • Relating data model entities to application data.

  • Adding data model entities and properties.

  • Creating relationships.

  • Deploying models and creating Content Repository nodes.

  • Binding data to Flash Builder data controls.

For instance, the company, Finance Corporation wants to enable customers to request meetings with their account agent. When a user logs in to the Finance Corporation website, they should be able to see their agent’s schedule, find an available time, and request a meeting.

In this module, you create a data model for persisting the meeting information. You will deploy the model to create Content Repository nodes where the Data Management Service persists runtime entity data. You will then create a simple Flex application for adding and displaying meetings.
