The Creating Your First Experience Services Application
tutorial guides you through the process of developing an Experience
Services application for Adobe Digital Enterprise Platform (ADEP).
Experiences Services are installed on a server, called the Experience Server.
The tutorial is divided into several modules. The modules are
designed so that you can choose to complete all or only some of
them. Each module has an estimated time frame for completion.
Create a composite application (35 minutes)In
this module, you learn about the following features related to composite
applications:
Creating new Flex projects for Adobe
Digital Enterprise Platform Experience Services.
Creating composite application catalogs to store application
assets, such as tiles.
Creating composite application tiles and HTML tiles.
Deploying composite applications to the Experience Server,
and viewing the deployed application in a web browser.
See Create a composite application.
Create a model-driven application (50 minutes)In
this module, you learn about the following Data Services and Content
Repository features:
Relating data model entities
to application data.
Adding data model entities and properties.
Creating relationships.
Deploying models and creating Content Repository nodes.
Binding data to Flash Builder data controls.
See Create a model-driven application.
Building, packaging, and deploying the application (35 minutes)In this module, you learn about the following
steps for packaging and deploying a model-driven application:
Setting up Maven in your development environment.
Building the Experience Services package.
Deploying the package to the Experience Server.
Running the application and handling errors.
See Package and deploy a model-driven application.
