Adobe Stock Photos

Search for stock photos

  1. In Bridge, click Adobe Stock Photos in the Favorites pane.
  2. In the text box next to the Search button, type the word or phrase that describes the subject of the images you want to search for. For example, if you need an image of a baby, type baby. If you need an image of a baby eating, type baby eating and you are likely to get results closer to the image that you need.
  3. To narrow the search to a specific content type, collection, image orientation, or tint, click Advanced Search if it is not already open and select or deselect options.

Advanced Search selections stay in effect between searches until you change them. Categories with deselected options are listed as changed next to Advanced Search.

Under Content Type, you can limit your search to masked images. A masked image is a photo of an object with a clipping path that cuts out the background so that you can place it on any background in your artwork.
  4. Click the Search button.

Images matching the search criteria are displayed in batches. To view additional images, click More. You can change the preference for the number of images displayed in each batch. See Change Adobe Stock Photos preferences.

Note: You can set a different language to use when searching with keywords in the Adobe Stock Photos preferences. Your results may vary between languages. Generally searching in English will find more images since not all image providers support all languages. See Change Adobe Stock Photos preferences.
