Buy photos

  1. To access your shopping cart, click the Shopping Cart icon.
  2. Choose a resolution for the photos you want to buy. (You can remove an item from the shopping cart at any time by clicking the Delete icon .)
  3. Click Check Out.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • If you have an Adobe Stock Photos account, enter your ID and password.

    • If you want to create an Adobe account, click Sign Up Now, and then enter your billing and account information.

  5. In the Review Order page, confirm your choices. To delete a photo from the shopping cart, click the Delete icon.
  6. If you have a promotion code, enter it in the Promotion Code text box and click Apply. You see any changes made to your order as a result of applying the promotion code.
  7. Click the check box to accept the terms of the Adobe Stock Photos License Agreement (click the blue text to read the agreement).
  8. Finally, click the Purchase Now button to complete the checkout process. Your purchase is processed; then you’re prompted to either download your photos or view your purchased photos.
  9. Click Start Download. You can set a preference to auto-download images that you purchase. See Change Adobe Stock Photos preferences.
  10. In the Save As dialog box, choose a location to save your image.
    • If you want to change the name of the saved image rather then using the AdobeID name, choose Rename from the File Saving Options menu and type a new name. If you are downloading multiple images, a sequential number is added to the name for each file. If a file exists with the name you chose, a number is added to the current file name so that you don’t overwrite a file.

    • If you want to save a copy of the image in the default folder so that it is easy to find, select Save a Copy in the Purchased Images Folder.

When the download is complete, you can click View Folder in the dialog box that appears to view your photos in Adobe Bridge.

  11. To view the receipt for your purchase, in the Thank You page click View Receipt. You can also monitor the progress of the download by clicking Open Download Status. When you finish, click Find More Images if you want to find new photos, or click Go To Your Account.

If you have been working with a comp version of the image you purchased, you need to replace the comp with the high-resolution image in your art.

Note: To delete the list of high-resolution images waiting for download from the Download Status screen, choose Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Bridge > Preferences (Mac OS). Select Adobe Stock Photos, and then click the Clear Now button. You can redownload purchased images for up to one year from the Accounts History page.
