Add files from the Organizer

The Premiere Elements Organizer is shared with Adobe Photoshop Elements. All still image, video, and audio files that you add to the Organizer through either program appear in the Organizer in both programs. A file added to a catalog through Adobe Photoshop Elements appears in the Organizer in Adobe Premiere Elements. A file added to a project in Adobe Premiere Elements appears in a catalog in Adobe Photoshop Elements. This makes it easy to share files between the two applications.

  1. In the Tasks panel, click Edit, click Media, and then click Organizer to open Organizer view.
  2. Locate the clip you want in the Organizer view. Use Albums, Keyword Tags, and star ratings to find clips, and the Media Arrangement According To Date menu to sort them.
  3. Drag the clip to the Timeline or Sceneline.

    This will add the clip also to the Project view automatically.
