The Publish Services panel in the Library
module allows you to export photos directly from Lightroom to Photoshop.com.
First, establish a connection between Photoshop.com
and Lightroom, then create a publish collection of
photos to export. Finally, upload the photos.
Important: You must use Lightroom 3.4 or later to upload
to Photoshop.com. In Lightroom, choose Help > Check
For Updates to make sure you are using the latest version.
Create a Photoshop.com connectionThe Publish Services connection allows
Lightroom to communicate with your Photoshop.com account.
- In the Publish Services panel on the left side
of the Library module, click the Photoshop.com connection Set Up
button.
- In the Lightroom Publishing Manager dialog box, look
under Photoshop.com Account and click Log In.
- Follow the prompts to allow Photoshop.com to communicate
with Lightroom.
- Specify additional export options in the Publishing Manager:
- Publish Service
- A description that appears next to the connection name
in the Publish Services panel.
- Photoshop.com Settings
- Synchronize your album hierarchy on Photoshop.com with
Lightroom.
- (Optional) To change your Photoshop.com connections settings
at any time, click the + button at the top of the Publish
Services panel and choose Photoshop.com > Edit Settings.
Add and manage photos in a Photoshop.com albumPhotos that you want to upload to Photoshop.com
are managed in a Photoshop.com publish collection,
also called an album.
- To create a Photoshop.com album, right-click (Windows)
or Control-click (Mac OS) the Photoshop.com connection
in the Publish Services panel and choose one of the following:
- Create Published Album
- A collection of any photos you choose. Give the album
a Name and specify privacy settings. Select Publish to show the
album on your Photoshop.com Gallery page.
- Create Published Smart Album
- A collection of photos based on rules you define. See Work with smart collections. Give the smart album a Name and specify privacy
settings. Select Publish to show the album on your Photoshop.com Gallery
page.
- Create Published Album Folder
- A group of Photoshop.com albums, the equivalent to a
Lightroom collection set. Give the album folder a Name and specify privacy
settings.
- For a regular album
, drag
photos from the Grid view to the Photoshop.com album in the Publish
Services panel. If you create a smart album , the
photos that match your rules appear in the album.
- To manage your Photoshop.com albums, do any of the following:
To edit, rename, or delete an album, right-click
(Windows) or Control-click (Mac OS) it in the Publish Services
panel and choose Edit Collection, Rename, or Delete.
To remove an unpublished photo from a regular Photoshop.com
album, select it in the album and press Delete.
To add or remove photos in a Photoshop.com smart
album, change the rules of the smart album.
To view the photos in a Photoshop.com album, select
the album in the Publish Services panel. The photos are organized
in the following categories, or queues, in the image display area:
- New Photos To Publish
- Photos that have not been exported.
- Modified Photos To Republish
- Photos that were edited in the Library or Develop module
after they were exported.
- Published Photos
- Photos that have not been modified since they were exported.
- Deleted Photos To Remove
- When you press Delete to remove published photos from an
album, Lightroom marks them as Deleted Photos To Remove. They are
removed from the album the next time you click Publish.
Upload to Photoshop.comPhotos waiting to be published appear in one
of two queues: New Photos To Publish or Modified Photos To Republish.
Lightroom uploads everything in both queues when you publish an
album.
- To publish photos to Photoshop.com, do one of
the following:
- If prompted, click Replace to update published photos
with newer versions.
