Adobe® HTTP Dynamic Streaming is a solution that allows
you to stream live and on-demand content over HTTP to Adobe® Flash®
Player 10.1 and AIR 2. When content streams over HTTP, clients can
seek quickly to any location. HTTP Dynamic Streaming supports adaptive
(multi-bitrate) streaming, DVR functionality, and Adobe® Flash®
Access™ protection.
This document contains information about HTTP Dynamic Streaming
for on-demand content that you package offline.
To package on-demand content just-in-time, when a client requests
it, use Flash Media Server 4.5 and later. See Stream on-demand media (HTTP).
To stream live content over HTTP, use Flash Media Server 4.0
and later. See Stream live media (HTTP).
