It is not necessary to install language packs on OS X 10.4 for Macs with Intel processors, which come equipped with language packs.

1. Click System Preferences to open the System Preferences dialog box.
2. Click International. The International dialog box appears.
3. Click Input Menu.
4. Select a language from the list that appears.
5. Close the Input Menu.
