Installing Contribute Publishing Server (Optional)
The Contribute Publishing Server (CPS) installers give
you two options for installing CPS, depending on your server environment:
Simple Installation is for systems
that do not already have a Java application server installed. This
installation includes a Java Runtime Environment (JRE) and JRun
4 server for use with CPS. For more information, see Installing Contribute Publishing Server using the Simple Installation.
WAR File Installation is for systems
that have a Java application server already installed. For more
information, see Installing Contribute Publishing Server by using the WAR File Installation.
If
your platform does not have an installer, you can download a WAR
file and associated data files, and then follow the WAR File Installation
process to install CPS.
Note: If your platform
does not have an installer, and you need to perform the WAR file
installation but do not have a Java application server, you can
download a trial version of the JRun 4 server with limited licensing
capabilities. For more information, see the Adobe website at
