About project filesWhen you work in files from a Version Cue project, you edit the files in the server location. This process is unlike Version Cue CS3, in which you edit a local copy of the file on your hard drive and then synchronize the local and server versions. In Version Cue CS4, synchronizing isn’t necessary because the project files appear only on the server. Whenever you save a file, a temporary file is stored. New versions of the file are created on the server when you or a different user checks in the file or saves a version. |
