Encode media

Note: The free trial version of Adobe Media Encoder software does not include some features that depend upon software licensed from parties other than Adobe. For example, some codecs for encoding and decoding MPEG formats are available only with the full version of Adobe Media Encodersoftware.

The set of formats that you can export to using Adobe Media Encoder varies depending on what other Adobe applications you have installed. The version of Adobe Media Encoder that comes with Flash Professional and the Design and Web editions of Creative Suite 4 is just intended for exporting to Flash video formats. To export to other video formats, you need the version that comes with the Production Premium edition, or with After Effects or Premiere Pro.
