If you have a contact that is not associated
with a certificate or you want to change the certificate associated
with a contact, follow these steps. A contact must have at least
one valid certificate to exchange encrypted PDFs.
- Do one of the following:
In Acrobat, choose Advanced > Manage
Trusted Identities.
In Reader, choose Document > Manage Trusted Identities.
- Select the contact, and click Details.
- Click Associate Certificate.
- Select a certificate, and click OK. Click OK again.
